Thanks to a Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Professional Development Training Grant (NE SARE) we are pleased to announce the 2016-2017 NE SARE NEMA Agroforestry Professional Development Training Series.
Over the next two years, the collaborative efforts of the NEMA Agroforestry Working Group will offer a series of trainings, webinars, field days and a revised Northeast/Mid-Atlantic regionally specific Agroforestry Resource Manual.
The NE SARE NEMA Agroforestry PDP Training will include:
- 8 single day Workshops and Field Days throughout the region (Starting October 2016)
- Monthly Webinar Series (Starting October 2016)
- Two 3-Day Agroforestry Professional Development Trainings (PA – September 2016 and Upstate NY – TBA 2017)
All NE SARE NEMA Agroforestry advertised trainings are open to the public, though priority and curriculum has been developed specifically to suit the needs of professional/technical service providers to better disseminate opportunities for agroforestry application in agricultural production and environmental conservation programs.
